Sherry Art Studio accepts students age 6 to 18 years old and some adult students. The class is taught in small group based on students age and artistic abilities. Many of Sherry's students came when they are 7 or 8 years old and stay till they went off to college.

The classes are designed to help student become independent in their ability to draw, paint and be able to use different art materials to compose an image. Sherry also very much encourage students to be creative in their learning. The emphasis on creativity is equally if not more than the craftsmanship of art making. At older age, around 9 or 10, students are introduced different styles in the history of art.
